Mod Op - Digital Operations Coordinator

My journey with Mod Op started in January 2020 as the Digital Operations Coordinator. Throughout my time, I have been able to learn new skills and better understand the digital marketing world. Upon joining the digital campaigns team, I had basic knowledge on Google Search Ads and advertising on Facebook and LinkedIn. However, within two months of joining the team I earned new certifications pertaining to SEO and LinkedIn advertising.

With my new found skills I quickly began to utilize them for our clients, specifically ExxonMobil Chemical and Lument LLC, formerly known as Hunt Real Estate Capital. I helped managed yearly budgets of $300k dedicated to paid social campaigns and juggling up to 15+ campaigns on a daily basis. This allowed me to understand the importance of staying organized and creating an organizational system to works for me.

Within six months of working at Mod Op I was promoted to Senior Paid Social Coordinator. Through my hard work determination to succeed I was able to earn more responsibility and become the Paid Social Lead for ExxonMobil Chemical. Through this position, I was able to better understand the importance of communication and working closely as a team.

When I wasn’t implementing social strategy, organic and paid, for our clients, I was helping create tracking ads, click trackers, and implementing digital banners for Texas Instruments. This part of my job was always interesting and exciting! In school, we discussed the impact of tracking ads but did not dive in depth of the functionality of them. Mod Op has opened my eyes and allowed me to better understand the importance of these for our clients. They allows us to better target and reach our ideal clients. Because of this I can now recognize and better understand why I am being targeted for specific ads found on websites or social media sites (such as Facebook).
